What fees does TikTok Shop charge US sellers?
A referral fee on each order. TikTok's US Seller Academy table lists 6% for most categories, 5% for pre-owned items and five fine-jewelry sub-categories, and 3% on the part of a collectibles or pre-owned sale above $10,000. The fee is calculated as the rate × (customer payment + platform discount − tax), and that base includes the shipping the buyer pays.
Is the TikTok Shop referral fee 6% or 8%?
TikTok's own US referral fee table (page dated October 8, 2026) still shows 6% for most categories. Several seller blogs report a rise to 8% from August 4, 2026 that we couldn't find on TikTok's pages. Check the referral fee line on a recent settled order in Seller Center, and type your rate in the box.
How does the creator commission work?
If an affiliate creator drives the sale, you pay them the commission rate you set in your affiliate plan, on top of the referral fee. This calculator applies it to the item price.
What does this calculator leave out?
Fulfilled by TikTok (FBT) fees, ads, seller-funded discounts, sales tax (TikTok collects and pays it) and new-seller promotions. TikTok shows your exact fees on each order in Seller Center.
